SJWPC is honored to serve the mothers of the Truth, Hope and Justice Initiative, whose children’s lives have been lost from acts of police brutality and abuse of power. We stand together with them and our allied partners, Women’s March NJ Indivisible and Hope Rises Up to bring about hope and change. Thank you for joining our pursuit of accountability as we strive to fulfill the most important tenants of our democracy.

Mothers & Families #STAND on Capitol Hill for "A Day of Action" in Washington, D.C.
May 10, 2018 (Thursday before Mothers' Day)
We are honored to support the #STAND where women whose children's lives have been stolen by police will congregate in the nation's Capitol to tell their stories and raise awareness about the need for police reform. Mothers and families who have lost a loved one to police shootings and/or affected by police brutality are encourage to #STAND on Capitol Hill to address these issues and demand justice. Additionally, we encourage all allies to stand in solidarity with us at this important event.
THE BIGGEST NEED IS TO FUND FLIGHTS. There are several mothers wishing to #STAND, who can't afford to make the trip on their own. To make a donation, please Paypal [email protected] and specify "STAND" in the notes. Or email [email protected] to donate miles.
