The recent incident involving a wrestler from Buena Regional High School was more than disturbing, placing the degradation of a youth of color in the national spotlight. While the video clip was short, many different factors had an impact on this event.

Whatever the infractions took place, it did not require public humiliation. Why wasn't "back up" equipment available? If a mutual decision was made to cut the hair, why did it have to be conducted in front of everyone and w/ cameras?

This is high school sports...where was this student’s coach in protecting this student from this abuse and humiliation?
